Washburn and Parker Guitar is looking for an Intern. USM is located in the northern suburb of Mundelein, IL. As a USM intern, you will enjoy discounts on all USM products, select complimentary concert tickets and the opportunity to work in the music business.Responsibilities are as follows:
- Auto Cad Drawing
- Assist on fixture design and construction
- Assist on design of templates and gauges
This position is good for an engineering major that wants to learn guitar manufacturing first hand. You must know AutoCAD 2008 and Solidworks 2009. All technical drawing is done on AutoCAD.
The successful candidate will be extremely organized, able to work under pressure, take creative direction and have proficient writing skills. While there will be no monetary compensation for the position, we are willing to work with your school to see if you can receive credit hours in return for your time.
The flexible hours would be between 7:00 and 3:30 Mon-Fri.
